The Owner acts as a natural person (self-employed) providing an information society service. As a natural person, there is no obligation to register with the Commercial Registry.
remove.es (the “Site” or “Service”) is a free, automated tool owned exclusively by the Owner that removes the background from images that the user chooses to upload, using AI-assisted processing that runs entirely on the Owner’s servers.
The Service is a neutral technical instrument: it merely processes the file provided by the user and returns a result. The Owner does not select, review, approve or monitor the content of the images users choose to upload.
Access is free of charge. Use of the Service implies full acceptance of this Legal Notice, the Terms of Use and the Privacy & Cookies Policy. The user undertakes to use the Service lawfully and diligently; any use listed as prohibited in the Terms of Use is expressly forbidden.
The code, design, trademarks, logos and other elements of the Site belong to the Owner or are used under licence. The Service relies on permissively licensed open-source software, whose terms are respected.
The images you upload remain entirely your property. The Owner claims no rights over them or over the generated results, and processes them only automatically and temporarily to deliver the requested Service, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of results, accuracy, specific quality or uninterrupted availability. The Owner is not liable for:
The above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights the user may have.
The Owner maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards the use of the Service to process illegal images. Any image constituting a criminal offence — in particular child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate images, or any other illegal content — that comes to the Owner’s knowledge will be reported to law enforcement and the competent authorities, retaining the technical information necessary to assist the investigation.
Anyone may report allegedly illegal content by writing to hola@remove.es. The Owner will act with due diligence in line with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
The Site may contain links to third-party pages. The Owner is not responsible for their content or policies, and their inclusion implies no recommendation or relationship.
This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the parties submit to the courts of the user’s domicile where the user is a consumer; otherwise, to the courts of the Owner’s domicile.
