Privacy & Cookies Policy

Last updated: July 2026

remove.es is designed to be private by default: no accounts, no tracking cookies, and automatic deletion of your images within a maximum of 60 minutes. 4. Retention periods

5. Recipients and processors

No data is sold or shared for commercial purposes. Only the essential technical providers are involved:

6. International transfers

Hosting takes place in the European Union, so it involves no international transfer. The use of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) may involve processing of technical data (IP) outside the EEA; such processing relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy mechanism, with appropriate safeguards.

7. Automated decisions and AI

Image processing is automated but produces no legal or similarly significant effects on individuals: it merely separates background from foreground. No profiling is carried out. Images are not used to train AI models.

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@remove.es. Note that, given the transient and anonymous nature of most data (images are deleted within 60 minutes and are not linked to an identity), once the short retention periods have elapsed there may be no data left to locate. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.

9. Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are applied: encryption in transit (HTTPS), protection against bots and abuse, data minimisation and automatic deletion, and restricted access to the infrastructure.

10. Users outside the EU (including US residents)

Regardless of where they live, the Owner does not sell personal data and does not run tracking-based advertising. Users residing in jurisdictions with specific regulations (for example, California residents under the CCPA/CPRA) have, to the extent applicable to them, the rights to be informed, to request access or deletion, and not to have their data sold — all respected here by default. The Service is not directed at children under 14 (or under 13 in the US, in accordance with COPPA).

Part II — Cookies

11. Use of cookies

remove.es does not use advertising or tracking cookies. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is shown. Specifically:

You can block or delete local storage from your browser settings; the Service will keep working, except for the security check, which is necessary.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. The current version is always the one published on this page.
